Dental Sedation

We are now providing intravenous sedation at Crickhowell Dental Practice. If you are very anxious about dental treatment then it may be worth considering having sedation for your dental treatment.

It involves the administration of a drug called Midazolam (which is similar to Valium) into a vein that makes you feel relaxed. The sedation usually lasts for about an hour during which we can perform most dental procedures.

If you would like to consider having sedation then please give us a call to arrange for an assessment.

James is a lecturer in Special Care Dentistry and Sedation at Cardiff University Dental School and so has helped many dental phobic patients using this technique.
