James Jenkins is one of very few dentists in the UK to possess a Master’s Degree in Implant Dentistry. Having graduated in Dentistry, James built up his knowledge and skills by working as an SHO in Restorative Dentistry at Cardiff University Dental Hospital. This exposed him to treating more complex dental problems and is of vital importance in those wishing to undertake Dental implant treatment. He then worked as an SHO in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Prince Charles Hospital, Merthyr Tydfil, during which he learnt and performed more advanced oral surgery techniques.

He then enrolled on an MSc Implant Dentistry postgraduate degree course which took 5 years to complete, during which he studied the science behind dental implants as well as performing implant surgery and being examined on cases.
